I'm trying to backup original dvd. backup dvd-r's wont play?

I've searched the forums and thought I found what I needed but I'm still getting bad discs. I am using dvd decrypter, dvd shrink, and record now dx everything seems to go well but all the files(video & others)on the DVD-R stay seperate and will only play when I use win media player and load all the files in order.
I know I'm doing something wrong but what?
I've burnt 3 of these bad discs so far.
Is there a "complete" tutorial/walkthrough on how to use these 3 programs together?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

I take it you are backing up your movie collection.........

If so, this is what you need to do :-

Use DVDShrink.

Reduce the size by compressing the files so that you have a complete green bar across the top.

Once you have this back up to Hard Disk.

Once complete, use Nero 6.

In th eWizard, Select no multi session on the top left option. Then go to Video (3rd one down on the left). Click NEW on the right.

Drag all the files that DVDShrink copied to your hard disk into the Video TS folder.

Click burn.

You should finish up with a back of your complete DVD.

If their is region coding on the original - download AnyDVD and install, then use DVDShrink.
