Making a DVD image

So I'm trying to make a backup of the whole DVD, not just the individual video parts. I'd like to get the menus, subtites, etc.

is there any way of doing this?

using ffmpegx?
or do you just mean backing up a dvd in general?

if so you can back up a dvd using dvdbackup or OSeX

trick is you then have to "scale down" this VIDEO_TS folder because its too big

ffmpegx can do this likewise so can dvd2one or dvdremaster
