  1. Hey everybody. It's been a while since I've been here or even had time to work on my capturing project. I was wondering if anybody else had run across this with their ADVC-100. I'm using WinDV for my capture program and running my ADVC-100 through the firewire port on my SB Audigy 2. It seems to capture fine when I don't look at my computer funny, but when I move my mouse while capturing, when I playback the video it cuases it to skip. Is my hardware just not up to the task? Thanks all.

    Stop it, you're killing me!!!
I can't see how it's your setup, all the work is done by the ADVC-100.
Have you tried different 'capture' software, such as DVIO?
    Might be worth a shot.

  3. I tried capturing with Adobe Premeire, but I couldn't figure out how to get the sound. Maybe mine is too old or something. It seemed to capture fine, but like I said... no sound. I'll try the other program you suggested and see if I get better results. Thanks Will.

I'm still laughing at that "...if I don't look at my computer funny" line

When you say no sound do you mean during playback or during 'capture'?

  5. Playback, so, I'm presuming it wasn't capturing audio from the firewire port. It didn't have a preview window where I could see what was going on either. I think it's a few revisions behind being version 5. I'll try out your last suggestion tonight and see if it makes a dif.

Edit: Hmm.. it seems the file isn't available from the site. Know of any mirrors?
