I have tried to convert the audio from an avi file to wav and mp2 but i get no sound from either
I have used TMPGEnc to convert my avi file to m2v and wav and FFMPEG to convert the wav to MP2
I would appreciate any help
I have checked the audio in Goldwave and it is 2 channel
I convert the audio in FFMPEG to MP2 Bitrate 224

try open the avi directly in ffmpeggui and convert to mp2.

It may still be that you're audio isn't to the right spec. Failing that, you may not have the codecs to play mp2 or AC3.
Use GSpot or AVICodec to see...

toast won't do wav, so using mpg file instead of m2v file gets round that?
