  1. Hi all -

    I'm a newbie...confused by audio sync.

I'm using the Dazzle DVC 150. I captured mpeg 2 using the DVXCEL utility that comes with the DVC 150. The capture split a 1-hour, 45-minute video into three files, and the audio sync is fine in the captures. However, when I assemble the files and try to burn using ULEAD Movie Factory, the audio sync gets off on the finished DVD.

    Any ideas/suggestions?

I don't really like using the DVXCEL or the MoveStar 5 software that came the the DVC 150...but those are the only two programs I've been able to find that will actually recognize the DVC 150 device and allow a capture. Any recommendations on a better program...that will recognize the 150?

    Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem using DVD movie factory except with a sony dvcam. I'm using DVDMF version 2. There are updates on uleads website. Make sure these are installed before doing anything else. I drove myself crazy trying to figure this out and it was nothing but uleads software.
A lot of people have audio sync problems, but this is the only one I've had myself.

If anyone else has had any other audio/sync problems , please jump in and be heard.

I'm running the Dazzle Fusion using Movie Star 5.0 to capture AVI files and then taking the captured video and opening the files in a storyboard in Arc Softs ShowBiz DVD authoring program. I can't install the Arc Soft DVD Complete as it conflicts with Roxio's Easy CD Creator (which I'm not going to uninstall). As a result the program that came with the Dazzle Fusion to complete the DVD authoring will not work. I tried capturing with Arc Softs ShowBiz but I had horrible results with regards to audio/video sync. I've read and tried everything and was getting nowhere. Then just by luck I tried capturing video in Movie Star and then finishing up transitions and titles in ShowBiz. Authored several DVDs and they are absolutely perfect. Only problem I have is that the Dazzle Fusion will only allow me to capture video in AVI files (great quality but large files) Is there a way to capture in other than AVI. Guess I'm going to have to get a 120 or 200 gig hard drive. Let me know what experiences you've had. I am well pleased with the Dazzle Fusion.
