I downloaded the filter you're supposed to use to remove logos in VirtualDub and extracted it to the Vdub plugins directory. The instructions in the FAQ say to open the video file, which I did, and then add the filter.

How do I add the filter? The help section of Vdub mentions using filters, but it doesn't say what to click or what menu option to choose to add them to your file, and there's no "how to" here about using filters with VirtualDub. There's one for using them with TMPGenc, but not VirtualDub, which is where I need them.

It must be disabled or grayed out in mine, then, because when I open the video menu (and I can't do it to double check right now, because I'm trying to encode a sample with some new settings to see how it comes out using frameserving) there are no filter options enabled. Trust me, I spent two hours searching all the drop down menus for ANYTHING mentioning filters. I admit, I didn't look at the disabled options. I'll double check when I am able to touch the machine that I'm doing this on again. I don't like to mess with it when it's doing its mojo.
