Below is my TMPGEnc VFAPI Plug-in screen? Any recommendations on re-prioritizing or adding of any plug-ins. I do mainly DVD ripping and conversion to SVCD, along w/ AVI to SVCD.
Also -- I have tried testing FRAMESERVING, and while I am able to FRAMESERVE from DVD2AVI into TMPGEnc, I am unable to do so from VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod. While it allows/recognizes the VDR file-type, I always get the "cannot open or file is unsupported" error when attempting to open the VDR file. I've looked around and tried various things, but still get the error.
Thanks in advance for any help or recommendations !!

only thing you could really add would be the quicktime plug in and then only if you really needed it ...
as for the order of things -- if it works , leave it alone ."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
Did you "install handler" in the aux set-up of Vdubbefore trying the frameserving ?

BJ_M,
Thanks. Everything except FRAMESERVING via VirtualDub works. So you see nothing here that would cause that problem? Any recommendations on what to try -- if it is not the order or plug-in priorities?
Thanks !!

JTommyJ,
Just saw your post and while I think I did, I will check. I've done so many re-builds of my OS and system that they are all running together !!
Thanks !! -
If that doesn't work, blast all your priorities up to 5 and see if that does the trick by trial and error.

jtommyj,
That was it !! I had done it at one time, but after a re-build and re-install, it seems that I forgot to run AUXSETUP again!!
Thanks for jogging my memory !!

I'm all ears if anyone has addtional recommendations relating to plug-ins. I will definitely install the QT plug-in, as some of the BMW Films are i QT. -
Another plugin available for reading .VDR/.AVS frameserving is "ReadAVS.dll" that is included and installed with the DVD2SVCD package. I didn't notice this until I really looked in TMPGEnc's environmental settings.
Get DVD2SVCD from http://www.dvd2dvd.org .
