RecordNow Max Problem

Hi, Newbie here, hope someone can help

I have been using recordnow max for about 3 months, Lately tho it stopped finalising the dvd-r discs, this happened about 4 times but now the software wont even open up. As soon as i start the prog the CPU usage hits 100% and the prog freezes, tried the usual, uninstall, reinstall, system restore but i still cant run the software. Swithed to Nero 5.5.10 and find this too wont finalize the dvd-r. Also having problems finalizing using clone dvd. The media i use (bulkpaq) has given me no problems before. The only next step I can think of is to reinstall windows xp, but as the dvd-r wont finalize, the pc does not read the disc, therefor if i go down this road i have a lot of data that will be lost.

maybe thier is somthing wrong with your burner not the program...i also suggest tryin different media..you might have had no porblem with the media your using before becuase a different manufactuer made them and now the current one u have is prolly made from a different manufactuer which your burner doesnt like...i suggest trin different name brand media if that still doesnt work..try to look at your burner
