I'm creating a dvd with a couple of movie clips with maestro. I want to know what settings do I need to configure in order to get the chapters to continue off from each movie. (ex... I have 4 movies on 4 different timelines and I would like the 1st movie chapters to be named chapter 1, 2, 3, 4. While the second movie chapters would be named "chapter 5, 6, 7, 8. etc.....) I want it to be read like that from a standalone dvd player rather than reading each movie has chapters 1 -4.
Thanks in advance....

put 10-15 4 frame GOP lenth (IPPP) or so of extra padding (black mpeg clip) at the beginning of the clip on each of the time lines but the first one ... set up chapters 1-4 (as an example for timeline 2) on this padded bit - then real start of movie wiuld be chapter 5 at beginning of real clip (on this second timeline) .. repeat same idea for each time line but add more chapters in dummy padded area ...
padding mpeg files (at the beginning only) need an audio track same type as movie .. you can just use the same track and maestro will slice the lenth as required ..
in your playlists you can just skip over those dummy chapters ... and go to chapter 5 directly ..."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650)
