Whenever I want to encode an avi file, it doesn't do anything with frame size. Let's say my avi is 560X340, the encoded mpeg will also have this. I'm trying to convert it to a mpeg2 file. But it doesn't give me a dvd compatible file...please help.

resize it before sticking it in CCE -- you can do this while frame serving it with v-dub or avsynth

ok, I'll try that, though I don't really know how to do that with avsynth; in vdub you'd use the filter right?
