  1. I am wanting to go to install NTFS but i have a worry. i have 2 hardrives with 4 partions total. Do i need to make both hardrives and all partions NTFS? Will i be able to use the entire hardrive and see all the partions if i just make my c drive NTFS? I know this question might be stupid but i don't want to make a mistake. thanks for any info you can give me.

Well first off, i assume you will be using NT, 2000, or XP.
You can make whatever partition you want NTFS. You will see all partitions if you are using one of the above OS'
You will not be able to see that partition in win 95/98.
NT/2000/XP will also see FAT16 & FAT32 partitions too, so If you just wanted your C: drive as NTFS that would be fine - it would see the others, too.

That is not entirely correct. Without a special addon driver (payware), NT 4.0 CANNOT use FAT 32 partitions. And, if memory serves, it cannot even see them. 2000/XP yes. NT No.

Confirmed - NT4 won't see FAT partitions. You need 3rd party software.
