Hi all
Newbie alert
While I've done some VCDs via my PC and know that end of things, I finally went the whole way and bought a 'desktop' DVD Recorder. I bought the Polaroid DVR-0900 (NOTE: This is apparently NOT the same as the DVR-0800 reviewed here).
Anyway, I get this puppy home on Thursday night and recorded 3 seperate titles on a DVD+RW. Each title was done via the recorder's (similar to a VCR) timer function, so they were done at 3 seperate times, 2 overnight.
So to my question. I didn't preview it at home before I left for work, but rather took it my office where I popped it into my laptop, an IBM (which stands for Incredibly Bad Machines) T40 running WinXP Pro. The first title plays back fine, but it will not access the 2nd and 3rd titles. They appear on the menu, but will not play. I tried two seperate laptops and 3 different software players. I also tried vlicking on the chapters within each title -- nope.
When I got home I popped it into the Polaroid, and voila, all 3 play back fine. I slapped it in my multi-standard/ multi-region/ macrovision disabled Daewoo, and all 3 play back fine there too.
Anyone have any direction on this situation?
Thanks
Toni-Lynn
