  1. Hi, i just come across the new version from DVDLAB. It said that it has the new feature with VMG Menus. I have no idea what that is. What is the the different between the normal menu and the new vmg menu? Can anyone explain what it mean and the usage of it?

P.S. I have alot of music video and want to make scene selection from dvdlab, but i need to merge all my video with transitions so i can use the chapters. Is there any program that i can you use for that purpose. Thank you

  2. VMG structure allows for multiple video resolutions and multiple audio types to be one one DVD.

If you have 352x480 adn 720x480 video size and want them on the same DVD, you will need to use VMG. If your audio tracks are MP2 and AC3, then you would need to use VMG.

If all your video and audio are all the same format, then you can use the standard VTS.

Transitions: If you are using Windows, then you can use Windows Movie Maker 2 to add transitions between the videos. Output the finished product as an AVI, then encode it to MPEG2. I'm sure there are other tools but this one is free and it works, at least it has for me in the past.

  3. Thankz for the reply...I read on the new version about the multiple vobs file, cuz i made a dvd music vidz before without menu. Now i have a chance to use the motion menu and I use DVDSHRINK Re-Author to cut my favorite songs into each VIDEO_TS folder. Now can I use the normal or the advance(VMG Menu) to insert those video_ts folders? And I can't use Window Movie Maker since the folders contain .VOB extension format which i have to decode it again and it will be a long time. Is there a way to use the Scene Selection with multiple movies or I have to merge all of my file into one big file to have Scene Selection?
