Ulead MovieFactory 3 Trail, my opinion

I currently use Movie Factory2 and just recently downloaded the trail version Movie Factory 3 disc creator

I think this software is much better than version 2 with tons more features; Audio normalize, AC3, more video editing features, add player during burn, DVR support, motion menus, improved slideshow options, PPT files.......

Things that I had problems with.
1. Relink feature is still not automated (deosn't do its own search) and if you have a large project file you will be stuck in the re-link loop and no way to cancel. (CTL-Alt-Del)
2. Where are the slidshow Audio fade in/out buttons like they have in Pictureshow2? The slideshow interface is now like PictureShow2 but missing Audio fade and multiple audio???
3. The menu background music will reset when the menu motion video ends at its 10, 20 or 30sec interval. The background menu video should reset and the seperate background music conitnue to play.

I will buy the version 3 upgrade if the slideshows have the Audio fade / multiple Audio additions for slideshows.

It should be noted the comparison link above doesn't compare the BASIC MovieFactory 3 ($50) to MovieFactory 2.

It compares the souped-up $100 MovieFactory 3 Disc Creator to MovieFactory 2.

The basic MovieFactory 3 is missing a lot of the features found in the MovieFactory 3 Disc Creator.
