  1. Hi,

I've been following Doom9's DVD9 to two DVD5 guide using IfoEdit. After I've output all the files per the guide's instructions, I use my Nero 5.5.10.54 to burn. I selected the DVD Video mode, and dumped all the files created in one disk into the video_ts folder. However, when I was ready to burn, Nero gave me several warning messages about how the files weren't conforming to the DVD Video standard, and asked whether I still want to continue with the burning. Since I was only testing on a DVD-RW, I said yes with the burn. The resulting DVD seemed to play just fine in PowerDVD, but I haven't tested it in a stand-alone machine yet. Has anyone else encountered those messages? Or Nero should have burned without questions and I must have done something wrong?

    Thanks in advance...

I think the MPEG-2 files may not have been compliant. What were their specs exactly?
    Hello.

  3. These are files directly from the original disc though -- so I'm not sure why the files would not comply to the mpeg 2 standard.

I just popped the test DVD-RW disk into a stand alone player, and it played fine....

This is the screenshot of the first error message:

Would the fact that I used a network drive to store the IfoEdit output files cause the error messages?

I doubt it. I still am looking for the file specs, though.
    Hello.

  5. What exactly do you mean by file specs?

After I posted the question, I did more research, and found a whole bunch of discussions concerning Reallocation Errors when splitting DVD9 to two DVD5s. But none of the fixes solve the problem...
