I got the 25 disk spindle of Imation +R's last Saturday. After I got them, I realized that if I'd waited another day, they would have applied the mail-in rebate on the spot. Oh well.
DVDInfo says there Ricoh and they burn at 4X, so I'm not complaining. All that for $15 isn't bad!

they were out of the imation by time i got their. they looked in some book for substitutes and i got 2 5 packs of memorex dvd-r for 2 dollars each. memorex seem to work half of the time in my daewoo player but work perfectly in my apex though..i prolly wont get memorex again tho..

They offered me some Memorex too, but I've had bad luck with them, so I held out for the Imation, which I'm glad I did...

I bought the 25pk of DVD+R 4x speed, and they are Richo. Not one single coaster in my Optorite DD0201.

Just a little info. The store around here does rain checks. My boy and I usually wait until Wednesdays to get stuff, each requesting a rain check. Last week they had a 80gig hard drive for $20 after rebate. So when they come in, they give it for the after rebate price since the mail in is only for that week and its the next week or so later. A couple of weeks ago they had Imation 25 packs for $9.99 after rebate and another time they had Mad Dog DVD drives for $9.99. If the store near you will play the game, why waste time with the mail in if the store will rebate all of it. It never hurts to ask and you might be suprised with the answer you get.....Terence
