  1. I'm sure this has been asked ad nauseum, however, i conducted a search and could not find an answer that wasn't overly technical for my knowledge....I have a standard 700 MB AVI file that happens to be Asian and lacks sub-titles. I've DL'ed the corresponding SRT and SMI files(both just to be certain), and I've got VOBSub 2.23, but I haven't the slightest clue what to do with it.. Any help greatly appreciated...
    Cheers

Take your .srt file and click here (Scenario 2).

  3. This was one of the overly technical sites I viewed....Lets make it simple...I have NO NEED to rip subtitles from a DVD....I have an Avi File and SRT and SMI files...perhaps I missed something, but where am I looking?

I told you: Take your .srt file and go to Scenario 2. If you had, you would see you do not need to rip anything. You use TextSub to display your subtitles. Maybe you can tell me what you're missing.

Frameserving? I think you may need a little hand. You want me to talk you through it?

  7. Honestly Tommyknocker, I greatly appreciate your help, but I've decided to just DL the version w/ subtitles, or simply wait for a smaller filesize....Sorry for the inconvenience, it just seems to tedious simply to watch a film..no ulcers are necessary ulcers
    Cheers

I always thought learning how to make videos is much more satisying than watching them. But as they said to the condemned man on seated on the electric chair: "More power to you."
    Hello.
