  1. Hey,

I really have a couple of questions. I have Premiere 6.5 and an AverDVD capture card. In Premiere, I can capture just fine, I just can't adjust anything capture-wise or premiere crashes. That's fine. The problem is I tried to use iuVCR. Once I install it and go to Preview Capture, it is all garbled. The usual blue screen when stopped is now a pink/green mix with a line across like the vertical hold is messed up or something. How do you fix this?

What's worse, is once I install iuVCR, I have XP Pro btw, and can't get it to work correctly as per above, I go back into Premiere, and now IT'S capture preview is doing the SAME THING! What the hell? I have no idea what happened or how to fix it, so I had to use System Restore and went back to yesterday. By doing that, it uninstalls iuvcr and once again, I can capture in Premiere. What the HELL is iuVCR doing to my system???

I have another question, but I am going to make a new post for that.

    Thanks for any help.

It may be adding a codec your system does know how to use. You may want to try to add IuVCR, then reinstall Premiere, since your system uses its it better. If not, it may be IuVCR is not for your system.
    Hello.

  3. Thanks TK.

That'll be a lot of work, but I may as well for curiosity's sake eh?

I'll make a restore point in XP while, at least, Premiere is working correctly, then uninstall both of them, then just install iuVCR and see if it works at all. If so, I'll install Premiere and check to see if both are still working.

I'll post back eventually after I get this accomplished.

    Thanks.
