    Hello,
I'm thinking about buying the Kworld V-Stream Xpert DVD Maker USB 2.0 Video Capture system. I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything (good / bad) about this product. I've tried searching the forums, but they weren't that much help. Thanks!!

I just ordered this external USB capture device. Any good or bad video capturing results out of this device?

I purchased this mainly because my Laptop's sound card does not have a LINE-IN.

So mostly I will be using the AUDIO-IN feature. It would be great however to use it as a video capture as well if it worked.

Been doing lots of video capturing and linear editing with good results.
I would be very "surprised if this "cheap" device could do what it claims to do. Looking forward to trying this device, especially the MPEG4 capture.

    Cheers.

MIC-in only gives you mono input not stereo, more over line in has higher impedance. If you plugin a LINE level to MIC in, the sound could be distorted.

Read my post regarding this device:

I have returned that thing and got a Plextor PX-M402.
I am very happy with Plextor.
