The last few dvds I have burn have all failed to work 100% succesfully. These dvds were: Futurama S4 D1, Brass Eye special, and Peter Kay's latest one. I am having different problems with each one which is strange because I've burnt well of 100 dvds with no probs b4.
Futurama- Works but menu does not 'auto load'. Problem can be solved by selecting a chapter first then pressing menu button but its just annoying. Works fine apart from that.
Brass Eye- Loads fine but in chapter select I think there is about 7 episodes and about 4 or 5 of them don't play and dvd stops. Have tried 'play all' function but crashes on same eps.
Peter Kay- Menu won't load and cant select any chapters. DVD is useless. Tried reburning this one with the same results. Also- my 104 does NOT even recognise the disc!! the drive reads 'older' burnt discs on the same media but didnt read both of these.
I tried all these dvds on the PC, Xbox (normally excellent for dvds), PS2, and Dansai DVD player. Same results for all.
As for software used, I rip the dvd onto HD using dvd decrypter - latest one. Then I use dvd2one to shrink the film. I am pretty sure this is not the problem tho as I tested them all several times before burning and there were no issues whatsoever. The media I am using is Bulkpaq gen 4 4x speed - burnt at 1x. I have been using these discs for AGES now and never had any troubles. I tried rebooting PC, closing all programs and burning again (Peter kay for 2nd time) but the same thing happened.
Can't think of anything else to add but have since tested all the files on the PC and they are 100% definatley working.
A couple of notes- I know bulkpaq are bad media but they normally work and I have also tried a decent Datasafe disc and Rytek G04 with the same results. I have since burnt Band of Brothers D1 and Signs on the crappy bulkpaq discs and both worked 100% so the problem is NOT with these dvds.
The only thing I can think of is that the dvds that dont work (Peter Kay, Brasseye, Futurama) are not films so maybe the menus get messed up for the dvds with lots of eps on- doesnt explain why they WORK on the HD tho.
Any help would be greatly appreciatted.

I have been reading up that there is problems with episodic dvds is that why this is happening? It doesnt make sense that they work 100% on the PC though...
