Hey all, I just want to let you know an issue I have recently. The burner I have now I love to death it works great with everything I throw at it, with one exception. I don't exactly know if it's the -R discs this batch or what, but the 4x Memorex DVD-R's are coastering like mad. I have never made any coasters with any disc prior, even other Memorex 4 DVD-R's..strange....I bought 100 DVD's from BestBuy last month for $100 what a deal, I was going to get Memorex +r's because I have used my burner hundred's of times with those exact discs and only one coaster (my first try). So watch out everyone because it seems as of late, the new 4x-r's aren't too good. Anyone else have the same trouble with the SONY DRU510A and this media? Thanks for reading.

Memorex is bad media.
I do tech support, most DVD burner calls get routed to me. Half the time they are using Memorex, I tell them to switch and they never call back. My sup said to stop suggesting to not use brands, I told him that if I couldn't then I would not accept transfers of DVD burner call... long and the short? I still tell them not to use Memorex, suggest several other brands instead and half the time they never call back.
