Hi All,
I'd like a "simple capture --> edit --> burn to DVD" solution like Video Studio or even DVD Movie Factory 3 but as I now video in anamorphic I need something that supports both 16:9 and 4:3 (and ideally lets you overlay say a 4:3 still on a 16:9 video then outputs in all correctly!)
I know I can step up to Media Studio but I really don't need all that features! Any suggestions???
Thanks
Nathan

Try DVDLab. You can encode to MPEG with Tmpgenc and author with DVDLab. It can accept both 16:9 and 4:3 and the latest (PRO) version can create multiVTS DVDs, where one VTS can be 16:9 and another be 4:3 (as per the DVD Specs).
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
Stop that, your confusing me. 16:9 and anamorphic aren't the same thing. You have 4:3, 16:9 , and anamorphic (2.3:1 or so).
TMPGAuthor will let you mix all 3 (but not PAL/NTSC). I have numerous projects that jump back and forth between all 3 (my 'Best of' compilations). To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan
