Problem installing Record now DX

Hi everyone
I tried searching for my error message as well as record now errors and I haven't seen this problem and I must have looked through the forums for 3 hours last night and for 2 more tonight. So I hope someone can help me. I have a Pioneer 106dvd burner. DVD X-COPY Xpress and DLA programs seem to work fine so far but I can't install Record Now DX It gets so far in the insallation and then I get the following message
"Internal error 2753

The logagent.exe file on your system may be corrupt or the incorrect version. Go to Start > Search > Files and Folders then search for the file logagent.exe . Rename all instances of the file logagent.exe to logagent.old. You can now install RecordNow Max normally.

There are only 2 items there, they are in:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player

They both seem to be associated with my media player.
Am I supposed to mess with the system and media player files?
let me know this is ok and I'll give it a shot.
