  1. Can someone help me out - I just got a Panasonic DMR-E80H ... and I am trying to edit out commercials on a playlist and then dub the playlist to a DVD-R in high speed mode. I get a message telling me that playlists cannot be dubbed in high speed and it automatically changes to SP and plays the entire video back in real time to dub to disc.

I have my DVD-R compatibility turned on ...

Does anyone know how to help me out? Thanks.

I don't believe it is possible to Highspeed dub a play list. I know the manual isn't the best, but it should mention it.

  4. Do not cut out commercials as Play List. Use "Shorten Segment" function.

It can High Speed Dub more than one title/program.

  5. Folks,

Of course, I have written an extensive tutorial on how to do this kind of editing in the "A Visual Guide to the Panasonic DMR-E80H" thread, here:

That'll walk you through it, if you haven't indeed gone through it already, timescaper!
