Is there a way to stop that annoying freezeing that happens when the scenes change.

Im recording my shows I taped on video onto dvd. Im recording in Dolby Dig. I then cut out the commercials and then place a chapter marker at all the comercal spots. Now when I play back the show on the recorders HDD there is no Noticable freezing. But when I transfer to DVD-R then watch it freezes for about a sec at the start of each chapter!

Dose any one know a good way around this? it also freezes when I play the DVD-R on my other normal DVD player!

    Thanks for the time!

  2. Oh yeh, I just remembered...

Are you high-speed dubbing that off the HD?
When you shorten segments, it changes the GOP or whatever its called...
So, to avoid that you must dub at 1x to dvd-r so that it re-encodes.

I'm fairly sure that is the cause/solution.
