  1. well I have a video which is an avi file but I want to convert it to a mpeg so I can burn it to a dvd but I will need to change the resolution to 704*573 how do I do that and the fasted way please

    Sorry, but that resolution is not DVD compliant. You may have to convert to another conversion.

    Click here for the proper specifications. You convert to the specs you need, then use the guide for Authoring.

    I hate to tell you this, but you really need to "bone up" a little no how to do this. Getting a few posts answered by well-meaning gurus (not blowing my hown horn here), does not, I repeat, not, take the place of reading the guides and articles. had you had done so, you would be burning DVDs yourself, rather than asking how to.

    You posts then would probably be limited to bragging about how you succeeded burning your first DVD, or at the least, any problems you had. Asking for instructions on how to burn a DVD on this site is like standing in the middle of a sipermarket and asking where the food is. The answer is the same, my new colleague: Look around. Let me know if you have any more problems.
