    enter the world of ... DVD authoring and burning

    or try making SVCDs ... if you dont have a DVD Burner ... yet.

    In other words - that's what to expect, with low resolution and ditto bit rate. SVCD is (can be) a dramatical enhancement tho...

    Using DVD2SVCD ... will make DVDs look great on normal CDRs ... but will take at least 2 CDRs ... to get a decent image to view on TV.

    I moved on to burning DVDs ... a few months later.

    I still burn VCDs ... but only for movies ... that are 60 or 70 minutes long ... usually TV shows or Adult movies ... mostly adult movies.

    Use a sharpening filter to enhance the sharpness before encoding to mpeg.
