  1. Hi,

Bought a few capture cards. Tested one last night, installed fine. Tried installing the Videoh! card last night but the New Hardware wizard never came up and it never showed up in Device Manager (Windows 2000 by the way). I've tried moving the card to a different slot, checked my BIOS settings to make sure P&P is on, and even updated my BIOS. Today I brought the card to work and it installed fine (and worked fine). I brought it home and it still won't install.

    Any ideas?

    TIA

Windows 2000 at home and at work (same service pack, even).

I don't think it's a driver issue since it doesn't even show up in the BIOS hardware listing...in other words, I never even get to the point where it could be a driver issue.

The weird thing is that ALL other cards I've put in the computer have come up in "New hardware found"/Device Manager automatically (including a few cards I already had and a brand new PVR-250 card I got yesterday).

    Mysterious.
