Its some old monitor I wanna give to my niece, but I cant find Win2K drivers for it.
With default W2K driver it goes max. to 800x600@75Hz@32bpp, and 1024x768 works only @60Hz, and it doesnt want to go higher (screen becomes black) at any frequency.
I've contacted IBM, but after giving me lessons how to search their support website finally they've admitted there is no drivers for this monitor on their website lol
Anyone have Win2K/Xp or NT drivers for it or know where to download it from?
For a 17'' screen it is a shame to use at 800x600 on a windows default drivers, and anyway I need color file for it as well ( .icc) because it has too warm colors to me (when I try IBM 2117 profile which is with Windows), proper driver would be much required.

Looke dnad could find absolutely NOTHING in the way of Win drivers.
My tip ...
Try using some of the utils from the makers of Powerstrip: http://www.entechtaiwan.com
Powerstrip is a great util: http://www.entechtaiwan.net/ps.htm and if the vidcard is a really old imbedded one (i.e. S3, Trident, Cirrus, etc) v 2.78 can still be had: http://www.entechtaiwan.net/ps2.htm
With Powerstrip you can "create" your own INF via the monitor configuration option and tweak/tune color settings and apply them as default. You setup the default refresh rates for each screen resolution. GREAT TOOL. -
Ripper2860 - PowerStrip seems like a very good software indeed; however $30 for it is probably more than the value of this 8 years old monitor

Give it a try though. If you can live w/ a 4 second nag screen it may be OK to use the un-registered version. I believe that settings are not saved after a re-boot on the un-registered version, but I believe it may only be the overclocking settings. Try it and see.
Who knows -- you may find a need for it on your system and find it worth the purchase. Then you can put an "archival" copy on the other system. In case of a primary system crash, of course. -
Oh, yeah. Give Multi-res a try on the Entechtaiwan FREE SOFTWARE section. It may allow you to over-ride the Windows defined rates and provide some help on the refresh rate side of your problem.

I like PowerStrip, really great features there allowing deep-digging into settings, even the ones I had no clue before they can be change by software lol
Yeah it doesnt remember settings until registered probably.
I wouldn't mind pay a few bucks for utility like this, and probably most of interested people could afford as much as well. I dont know what is with most of developers nowaday that they rather have only 1000 legitimate copies sold at steep price and in the same time million(s) of trial versions with applied cracks running out there - instead of selling it really cheap so every potential interested user would just pay them small fee? (its just a rhetoric question and sort of complaint for usual damn corporate greed...)
