Going to be starting a massive encoding project, so I would like everything to be as streamlined as possible.
The end result would be to get each episode of the series in question to fit nicely on one SVCD-- the trouble is that I want to cut out the opening and closing credits of each one.
Now, I figure the parts to be cut will be a generally constant size, regardless of how long the episode is... but rather than overshooting the size to larger-than-1-CD and trimming the video with Womble, I'm wondering if there's any better way to do it.
A friend of mine suggested writing an AviSynth script to find the beginning and end of the sections in question, but I have no skills in that area, so it's beyond me.
Anyone have any suggestions?
