I was wondering if dvd shrink is better or dvd xcopy express or plat?
Some people have said that shrink has some video clusters while watching.
And some say dvdxcopy works 100%
Any thoughts?

xcopy is nuttin but a piece of shit. The rip off software has no options. Better yet, it can't even burn menu file other then the main movie. Don't waste ur time and money. Luckily I download a crack version of xcopy instead of wasting my money on stupid shit like that.

There is no comparison, DVDShrink. DVDXCopy does not allow the creation of DVDs using parts of multiple DVDs (selective burns) and it places a stupid warning screen at the begining of each copied DVD. It also deletes DVD files after each copy is made so you can't make additional copies. Shrink is free and XCopy is not. If I had to pay, I would still use Shrink.

That's not quite fair. You can be quite the dumbass and know enough to be sure to eat and breathe, and still be able to get good results with dvd shrink.

Shrink all the way no ifs and buts about it....!
Never had a problem once with shrink.... -
It seems all the arguments FOR Shrink are that it's FREE and that it lets you create menus/extras/etc. Now don't get me wrong, FREE is great!
Does anyone feel (or know) if the QUALITY of Shrink dvd's are actually better than Xcopy or about the same? I have both, and I would swear that the Quality (ie less pixalation) of Shrink is better than Xcopy, although that is just my humble newbie opinion. Mebbe this explains the fact of why Shrink's process takes longer than Xcopy's process?
Anyone shed some light on this? -

DVDXCOPY Platinum in full DVD mode does not allow removal of audio tracks. DVD Shrink does.
DVDXCOPY Platinum in simple mode movie only. Allows you to keep only 1 audio track and 1 subtitle. DVD Shrink in re-author modes lets you keep them all or just the ones you need.
So in Doing full DVD....being able to remove audio tracks is important. Case in point is Castaway it has over 1.5 Gigabytes of extra audio. In full DVD mode.. DVDXCOPY does not allow you the option to remove the 1.5 gigabytes of audio and use this space for Video quality. Dvdshrink gives you the option to remove audio tracks in full dvd mode. -
I've used both a lot and my opinion on both (if we are talking about quality) is that Shrink should be the payware and DXC should be the freeware!! Shrink is quite possibly the best free program out there...

i have used both and dvd shrink cost money and dvdxcopy was free. shrink would still get my vote. shrink would be the only software i would actually buy and not go searching for a crack for it.

Yup,
DVDShrink Rulzzzz. Nothing else to say about it.
I have copies of Xcopy, Xcopy express, xcopy platnium and gold. They are great programs if you only want to click 3 buttons and walk away. want the stupid disclaimer at the beginning of the movie. Can't copy the copied movie disk. And pay $100 for them. I prefer the FREE, by far superior DVDShirnk. -
I have used DVD X Copy before and there is no comparison. First off, I've noticed that DVD X Copy can't reproduce anything bright in the background without it producing a streak across the screen. Get out your backups that was created with X Copy and look for any parts that have bright lights in the background. I can almost guarantee you'll have a ghost image streak across the screen in certain areas. Try to backup Matrix Reloaded, and you'll see what I'm talking about. It's annoying. So far, I've never had this happen with DVD Shrink. I also can visually see the difference of the two. DVD Shrink just does a better job on video with all things equal. Also like some have said already, DVD X Copy places a dreaded WARNING message on each disc and won't let you backup from a backup, you'll have to use Nero. With DVD Shrink you can decide what you want and don't want. You have limited choices with X Copy. But the biggest thing you have to consider, DVD X Copy cost alot and DVD Shrink is free, but in this case, the saying, "you get what you pay for" doesn't apply.. lol Forget the DVD X Copy and you'll do yourself a favor in the end. Just be willing to learn a little and you'll be way ahead with DVD Shrink. Just my opinion though.
