problem with s/vcd to dvd

Hi,
I recently registered ffmpegx and i had some mpeg files in a folder. i selected the folder with the video tools and clicked the s/vcd>dvd button it takes about 2 min and it says Applescript error Progress got an error: AppleEvent timed out (-1712). I made sure that the files had no spaces and the folder path had no spaces. What am i doing wrong. It seems to happen when there is more than 41 mpeg files in the folder. Is there a limit on how many files in the folder.
