Hi,
I am experimenting with DVD Shrink 3.1.2, using Full Disk mode, mix compressions (max compression on menus, still pictures on extras, minimum compression on the main movie). The test movie was only compressed slightly (less than 6%). Is it possible that DVD Shrink may not "catch" any possible bad sectors on the original DVD? The result main movie had a few places that locked up during playback, even though that was not indicated during Deep Analysis. Or is it some other factors that would cause this to happen?
Thanks in advance...

If you didn't use deep analysis, it's possible it missed something. It can also be a marginal burn and your player missed it. Run the disk through DVDInfo Pro and check it for errors first. Then try viewing that scen on your PC and anotehr player.
