    I have put 5 vcd mpegs onto a dvd using TMPGEnc DVD Author and burning with Nero. Everything seemed to be fine but when I play it thru my DVD player, the picture is stretched and squeezed into the top half of the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    This is very interesting because a friend of mine has also encountered the same problem with a philips dvd recorder. I'm also wondering about what's causing this playback problem myself but the only problem is that i need a dvd player with this playback problem for testing purposies.
