  1. Ok, nobody so far has been able to tell me how to do this. At work, we use MS outlook. I am able to access my "work" email from anywhere I want by logging on to the exhange server and poking in my password. I see my mail through some kind of web page interface. This is OK until I have to page through 25 pages of email (on a dial up) looking for something someone sent me a month ago (and I've been too lazy to do). My question is this: How can I "download" from this web page layout into my MS outlook program?

Downloading is not a hard thing to do. However, from a dial up and depending upon the size of your emails, downloading can still be quite time consuming. Even if you configure MS Outlook to use a locally stored inbox, it still will take some time. Currently, I use MS Outlook at work and at home as my default email system for both. The procedure is very straight forward. I will give you two versions depending upon whether you can access the exchange server directly or as you stated via a web page.

In MS Outlook under Tools/Services Select Add, then select Personal Folder, Pick your storage location (usually on your local HDD) give it a name and save.
Now you can move your emails from your inbox to this new folder simply by dragging and dropping.

The above was from the MS Exchange server or ISP email server. From a web based page, it should allow you to create a folder for your emails. Pick a user friendly location and name then you can "move" emails from the web page inbox to this folder.

In either case you now have a hysterical record of received emails FWIT that can be viewed by outlook in an "offliine" fashion.
