I think I went about this the wrong way -- but, now is there a way to fix it?
I've backed up some movies using DVD Decrypter in IFO mode to just extract off the main movie. Now I have a bunch of VTS_01_x.VOB files and one VTS_01_0.IFO file. Simply creating a VIDEO_TS directory and burning such a layout doesn't result in a DVD that plays in any of my players.
I've tried using IfoEdit, but it creates a VIDEO_TS.VOB/IFO which I think I need, but the VOB is empty. When I use IfoEdit to do a Get TS Vectors, it gripes about an empty movie file.
When I try to invoke some of the other options in IfoEdit to recreate IFO files, it crashes on me every time...
So, I have a batch of movies that I've saved off using DVD Decrypter in IFO mode ... how can I now "re-author" a DVD that is of proper compliance? Getting the right bits burnt onto the DVD I can do .. I just can't get a decent VIDEO_TS directory with the right IFO files and VIDEO_TS.* files. Help!
