Does anone know of a capture card compatable with a laptop? I am looking for a laptop, and it would be my only computer. It would be very useful if I could convert some of my companies training videos to a DVD or other format I could watch and show on the road. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You could try a Dazzle device with a USB port (try searching the internet for the website). This converts video directly to a VCD format that can be burnt on an external CD burner plugged in via a firewire or USB ports. the resulting disc could be played on the laptop's normal CD drive or on a DVD player. Iuse this setup and it gives reasonable results.
