How to convert DivX to SVCD, simplest steps available, please.
I would like to play in DVD Player. My player supports SVCD.
I have read a few articles, but I would like the easiest way possible, being that I am a newbie, and don't want to confuse myself, nor do more steps/time that necessary to achieve the same outcome. I appreciate all reponses. Thanks.

You're right though. It really is the easiest way. I would only have to disregard everything I've learned about encoding to consider it an option.:P
i know u said u wanted an easy answer but if you want to make a good quality svcd you should considder spending some time learning to do it right, you can get excellent results form alot of the guides here.
The simplest way is to insert the original DVD and work with that. Unless it's a homemade TV capture (the only other legal alternative, since the source must be over 50 minutes or you would have used TMPGEnc via a template).
DVD2SVCD still supports AVI input, and it's great for people that don't understand the 123 steps it takes. To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan
