I just don't seem to be able to get this right. I'm making a lot of coasters. The DVD s I've created seem to be pixilated with choppy motion--not at all like the original. I used MyDVD first then I used VideoStudio 7 with same results. My camera is a Sony TRV 39, my computer is a Sony Laptop 1.19 GHZ pent III with 512 MB Ram, 30GB drive C=FAT32 3GB free, D=NTFS 11GB free, my DVD burner is the Sony 500 UL external. I am using Fire Wire for both downloading from camera and as the burner connection. Will it be able to burn my mini DVs to DVD and have them come out smooth with Nero6?
Thanks for any advice.

First, the choppy video. Try encoding a short sample using a diiferent field order. For the pixelation, using a different but better DVD may help you.
