  2. DVDShrink is free, so you might as well give it a shot. Some people think it's better, some think DVD2One is better. CloneDVD might have a 30 day trial as well, so you could probably try that too.

    Tiz difficult to say what is *better*.

    My DVD2One experience is similar to yours. I use it almost primarily to do my movie-only backups. However, I do have a use for DVD Shrink, like when I wish to tinker with editing etc.

    People have done tests, and from results I've seen, processing speed and video quality is a tad bit better with DVD2One. But then again, it all depends upon your puter, your video system and your eye.

    I think both look excellent. Either one will give u about the same video quality results. Yer not missing out on anything by using DVD2One.

    I personally like DVDShrink but if it works for you, stick with your current setup.

  5. For movie only, the best quality is achieved using DVD2DVD (aka DVD2SVCD), with Cce, then Ifoedit to author (any authoring proggy will do, but Ifoedit is free and simple).
