dvd files too big

Problem :
I use dvd shrink for ripping my dvd s. I have a lot ripped dvd s that are still too big, also when i only rip the movie without menu s etc... (remember that i DO NOT want to compress and lose quality!)
The vob-files (from eg. xmen 2) are 5.5654 GB and we all know that you can only burn 4.7 GB. I use nero 6 for burning and can t find an option there for splitting or something like that.

PLEASE ADVISE what program to use to get them on 2 dvd s

You can use DVDshrink to split the DVD into 2 disk. In Re-author mode, just drag your main movie title over. Then use the START / END feature to split the disk. So in other words, Set the END to the middle of the moive or at whatever point you want to have the fist disk end. Then click backup.

Then creat a new reauthor window and do the last part of the moive with the start /end feature. Then burn each part in Nero. I there there is a guide on dvdshrink.info that tells you step by step.
