    I have re-rendered a movie from pal to ntsc with mpeg2vcr at 2 different resolutions. First I used 480 x 352 (the movie was encoded as an svcd). I patched the first header with dvd patcher to 352 x 352. Maestro won't accept it. Then I encoded at 480 x 480 and patched to 352 x 480. Still Maestro won't accept it. Usually this patcher works and I can burn svcd's to dvd. What am I missing this time?

    Why don't you break out your manual for DVDMaestro and read about the valid video resolutions that it will accept?

    Seems like a "no-brainer" to me.

    What error message did Maestro give you? I've had no trouble with patched 480x480 or unpatched 352x480. If you forgot to pulldown, that's probably the problem.
