  1. I have just started burning my home videos to DVD. I use a DVD+R/RW Drive. I have a Panasonic DVD Player.

I am using the trial version of NeroVision. The first time I burned one of my home videos which was created using Windows MovieMaker, it was fine and played on my DVD player. It was 7 minutes long. Bitrate high quality 9716 bps.

My second project was a 30 min home video, 1.8 GB. When I used the Nerovision, I created chapters and also applied high quality bitrate. The problem is that it doesn't play on my DVD player. I can see the menu screen with all the chapters. When I press play, it highlights and does not play.

I am really puzzled. I have tried to decrease the bit rate butI don't think it's related. It can'tbe the DVD player cause it played my first project . In fact the quality is great.

Thanks I look forward to some answers.

By the way, before this happened, I was actually able to successfully burn a 40 min home video. But that was onlyonce. So I can't understand. Is it possible that trial versions have limits to lengths of dvd's you can burn?

  2. What burner? What media? It helps if you give more information regarding the hardware as well as the fault.

  4. Hmmmm! Are you sure that the HP is a DVD burner, the reason I ask, is that I very much doubt that any burner yet has a 16X write speed. I'm aware that the newest generation have/will have 8X burning.

That aside I don't have any experience of +R discs but it may be worth trying another make of disk. Perhaps someone else with more experience can suggest a suitable alternative. ANYONE?

Highlight the video or chapter then instead of pressing play, press the enter key. This is what I had to do when authoring with Nerovision.
