  1. I was wondering if there is any way I can use a motion menu from a retail DVD and replace the links within it to direct to my own choice of film or secondary menu. I can do it with static menus no problem but have been trying to use DVD-LAB v1.1 to do it with motion menus and there is always an exception error.

I also want to be able to edit the frames on the menus but still have them run as normal menus when done.

For example, when making a multi DVD I want to steal a great menu from a retail DVD and edit the images in each frame so that all the motion remains but the title is my own and the link options of 'PLAY' and 'CHAPTER SELECTION' etc direct to my own links.

I'm sure there is a program out there that will do it and thought I had found it in DVD-LAB but it won't do the frame edits.

If anyone even know how do do one or the other I would be greatful

    Cheers

Just DLed DVD-LAB 1.31 and its beta update to see if they will do it. Seem to have a few more functions from the info on the net but don't know if they will do exactly what I am after.

    Still looking for other suggestions

  2. No joy with DVD-LAb so still looking for a solution.

The reason I am doing it is because I have a good intro menu from a disney film that I want to have at the beginning of one of my family recordings for the kids.

It is a motion menu which (once it has run through the initial intro) comes to rest with the options of PLAY and CHAPTERS and has the sky still moving in the background.

Just gonna run through some ifoedit tutorials and try to learn the hard way from scratch

    Cheers
