Hello and please excuse my ignorance on this topic but I am very confused.
I would like to import my dvd-ram files (vro, ifo, and bup) into a editing program like ulead media studio pro but it does not accept these file formats. It only accepts files like mpeg and avi, etc. How can I put my dvd-ram programs into media studio pro. What should I do?
Thanks

After copying the VRO file to your hard drive, change the VRO extension of the file to MPG. Your authoring program should be able to import it after the change.

Just rename the file extension. If you cannot see the file extension, in Explorer (not Internet Explorer), select Tools > Folder Options, then click on the View tab and uncheck the box for Hide extensions for known file types. You might want to do this with a copy you've made of your file in case something goes wrong, though it shouldn't.
Hope this helps! -
probably not the answer you are looking for since you want to stay with your current media package, but try TMPGENC DVD Author. You can pull in ram files (mpeg and IFO) into it and edit, etc.
