  4. for a quick backup DVD SHRINK and Nero 6 and while your backing up take a chance to read round the forums and guides for your prefered software / method
It appears that the CPU was operating so fast that it began to execute instructions before they arrived. This execution of future instructions created a small tear in space-time itself through which part of the cpu passed into a parallel universe

Firstly, sorry to be a broken record, but make sure you read the forum rules - ..."chances are, someone has already posted your problem..."

Secondly, there are a number of guides which all use different programs. The best method is the one that works for you.

IMHO, Smartripper/DVD Decrypter, DVDShrink and Nero do all my jobs.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  7. If you want a program that backs up your DVD's easily DVD X Copy works very well. It will add a disclaimer to the DVD that says it is a backup.

If you want to have some control over the final DVD as far as what is included and how much things are compressed and if you don't want that disclaimer and if you don't want to spend any money and if you don't mind learning through research, trial and error then start do some research on DVD shrink and learn to use it. (It's easy)

CloneDVD is the easiest to learn and back up/burn DVD files with.

    Try it!

Another word of advice - you needing the info quickly is not going to make people resond any faster. Don't be impatient - god knows once you start backing up and authoring DVDs you will learn patience !

TMPGEnc DVD Author is my tool of choice for authoring. It really depends whether you are a real NOOB or whether you can pick things up pretty quickly. Most one step commercial software is written for NOOBs so you might want to spend a little bit of money. However, if you are willing to do things in two or three steps for free, there are guides on this site and freeware available - you just need to do a little research.
    If in doubt, Google it.
