  2. I have tried using the guide suggested and have run into a problem that has been racking my brain all week. Do I have to create my VOB files in IfoEdit? I have ripped some VOBs from a DVD that already have the subtitles I want. Can't I just import them into DVD Lab?

It seems kind of backwards to take VOB files, rip the subs with SubRip, demux to elementry streams and mux back to a VOB using IfoEdit Does DVD Lab only accept VOBs with subtitles in the SUP format? I know the VOBs on the original DVD uses a different one.

Any help is appreciated. I'm at my wits end!

  3. Here is some more information. The VOBs are episodes of a Japanese anime show. Not speaking Japanese, I need the subtitles that are on the original DVD. The episodes are over 1GB each, so they are spread out across 2 VOB files. Sometimes 2 episodes are in the same VOB file so I have to use Chopper XP to get the part of the episode I want. After I rip the VOBs, I have to rejoin them using VOB Merge.

I now import these VOB files into DVD Lab. After I Compile the DVD in DVD Lab, there is no subtitle stream present. I can only gues that after cutting and rejoining the VOB files that the substream information has disappeared.
