    Hi, im a newbie to VCD authoring and i was wondering what is the best software to make a realy good looking VCD menu page with?

    Welcome to the forum! Try any dvd authring package as mpeg1 is valid in dvd also. Many packages(?) have trial versions ulead dvd movie factory too. vcdeasy will do this. as will enreach I-author (but you wont find that as the author has ???)

    Photoshop (esp. the newest version), no question.
    Then convert to MPEG stills in VCDEasy.
