Ok, iv had my dvd burning for over a year now... i used to doing this alot, and now havent done a dvd in about 4-5 months... i sorta forgot, but I still feel as though Im doing it correct. But Iv tried 3 differnt movies and have NO SUCESS... what am I doing wrong?
Step 1: DVDDecrypter
Mode - File
Select All Files
Copy to hard drive in folder "DVD"
Step 2: DVD Shrink
-Open Files that dvddecrypter burned (usually about 5+ and I just select the one called video_ts.ifo, because it only lets you select one file)
-click ReAuthor
-drag the biggest file up to top
- delete subtitles, languages, compress, etc
-BACKUP to hard drive in new folder
Step 3: IMGTOOL
-Select the folder that DVDShrink just made
-BURN .iso file to hard drive
Step 4: DVDDecrypter
-Mode - Write
-Copy .iso file IMGTOOL made to DVD drive
DONE!!
well thats how I remember doing it... but like I said my memory is a little foggy, its been a while
HERE IS MY PROBLEM... i get to step 3 IMGTOOL and when I click the button to burn the image.iso file to my hard drive it does NOTHING... nothing happens... it stays at 0% and when I lick LOG, it shows nothing.... what am I doing wrong?

I dont really use IMGTOOL so I dont know if that could be your problem. But, I would try another program to burn the DVDs with, like CopyToDVD or some poeple use Nero 6. Im sure there are some other to shed some light on the subject, but as far as I can tell you shouldnt have any problems unless there is something running in the background, a device conflict/driver conflict, or a software problem somewhere. Sometimes when you install certain applications over time it can mess with certain settings. See about re-installing IMGTOOL. Good Luck and hope that helps.

Your right, you are out of date.
Get DVDShrink 3.1.1 . That's tthe only software you need. No DVDDecryptor and no IMG tools. It rips and burns by itself.
Your IMG tool problem may be space issues. Remember you have to point IMG tools to a folder containing the VIDEO_TS folder, and not at the VIDEO_TS folder itself. To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan -
wow, so all i need is the new dvdshrink and thats it??? wow thats amazing... just one program now??
is there a tutorial for it or can someone help explain the process to me for the new version
and yes, i was selecting the folder with video_ts in it and not the video_ts folder itself.... and i do have plenty of free space
